Ungifted

Ungifted, a realistic fiction book by Gordon Korman teaches you that people are different. Donovon, the main character, is a troublemaker who was accidentally put in the gifted program after a big mistake. He wanted to be gifted like everyone else. However, everybody was so smart and he was average. So he had to do a retest because nobody believed he passed the test. Then someone did the test for him and his score was almost perfect. In the end, Donovan was finally caught and he had to do 20 hours of community service.




This book had a lot of great lessons in it. One was that everyone is gifted in a way. Also, own up to your mistakes and don't blame anyone for your mistakes. I picked this book because I knew there would be great lessons. This was my favorite book out of the two I read.
