Discover Weather

     Discover Weather a non-fiction book tells about what kind of weather there is and the effects. One of the most interesting facts is most of the time the earth spins toward the wind. Next, I thought that it was crazy that thunderstorms are the most common storms. At any moment 100ds of thunderstorms are circulating earth. The bending of light is what causes rainbows. Earth has no permanent ice at the poles.

      I had some thoughts and questions about whether even after I read this book and the stuff we see in our atmosphere. I wonder why the sun gets bigger when it rises and sets?  Also, how does hail work and why doesn't it just come down like snow or vice-versa?  Lastly, if it is 20 degrees in the sky but it's 40 degrees on the ground would it come down as snow or rain?  

Flying solo

    Flying Solo a book by Ralf Flecher tells about a group of students that run their own class. the main character Rachel is a quiet kid and hasn't talked since the person who had a crush on her died. They wanted to run the class by their selves. However, It would be hard if someone found out there screwed. so they started the day, it was going well so far.  Then they did a rock ritual and wrote about Tommy Feathers. In the end, they went to the simile and got in trouble for not having a teacher, Also rachle talked for the first time in six months.

     After reading Flying Solo I had some interesting questions about the book. I wonder why Ratchel took it so personally when Tommy died. Also, I wonder why Bastion would give his dog away that was one of the saddest parts of the book. I also have a connection in kindergarten another teacher had to teach because the teacher didn't show up.      

    

Fuzzy Mud

     Fuzzy Mud is a short book about a fake disease that infects the whole world. Tayama the main character is smart, strong, and acts fast; she also got a disease from mud that makes your skin feel fuzzy.     She wanted the emergency people to find a cure. However, this was something no one had ever seen before. Then they tried a cure to see if it worked. In the end, the cure worked and the whole world was saved.

    This was a great book and I had some positive and negative thoughts on this book.  First I love the theme of this story I like how they made it mud instead of some kind of poison like other books do it. However, I didn't like how the jerk and the main character teamed up. those were my negative and positive thoughts on this book.
