Storm Chasers

Storm Chasers a nonfiction book that tells about people who chase storms. To start, People go in vans with advanced equipment. However, not all are professionals. Next, they chase all kinds of storms. Also, they are risking their lives because they might get sucked into the storm and die. To add on,  you have a driver, a reporter, a backup driver, and a video guy. To finish, they get up really close to the storms too.

Storm Chasers, Kansas, America Through Time, Paperback, Christopher Collura

I had some questions and thoughts on this book. First, why do people risk their lives to just get up close to a storm? Also, how does the car not just flip over with the high-speed winds? When I read this book I learned how dangerous it was to chase storms for a living. However, it does look kind of fun. This book reminded me of a story my mom told me growing up.
