"Grizzly Bears Amazing Animales" by Jacqueline Dineen describes the life and facts of grizzly bears. First, grizzly bears live for 25 years. Also, they sleep for eight months in the winter. To add on, they can run up to 35 miles per hour. Also, they eat up to 35 pounds a day. Before they go into hibernation they eat up to 90 pounds a day. A Greek Myth states that Zeus turned a woman and her children into grizzly bears.
I had some thoughts on this book. First, why do bears go into hibernation, why can't they just stay outside? Also, how do they not die in hibernation? To add on, why did Zeus turn the kids and the woman into grizzly bears? That's kind of messed up.
